Default Mhenlo and Khim in Arkjok Ward

I am not sure how to say this. I think this smiley shows my current state of being and this

Monk Henchman not doing their job. If I could take a video of the incident, you would see what I mean. But let me try to explain what happened or NOT happened as I don't have a video of it.

What happened: monk henchmen not healing nor are they attacking and they are also not ressurecting.

Its very very weird incident, First, Gerhaz dies, follow by Davona, then, Jora dies, then Koss dies, then my health bar start to deteriorate, so I look around for the monk, and they were standing that not doing anything.

Were they nerfed?

this happens about, as long as it took me to type this post ago. anyone knows what's wrong with the henchmen, please don't say they already suck, because this weren't the case until today. Never happens like this before.

Okay, At the ressurection shrine now, I am going to test again, and see if they still won't do a thing.

good, now they are doing something. wanders if its a bug that make their AI stop?

was there a spirit from a previous mob nearby? I've found that spirits left behind after killing a mob will often cause the henchies IQ to drop right down to 0.

Most likely a spirit. If there is an enemy spirit in range, Heroes and hench wont do anything untill you kill it.

Happens many times, so I can agree that they do nothing till it is gone.

hmm, the same thing happened to me, we died really fast as only dunkoro was healing, and the other two were doing nothing...just coincidence?

You have three wars, that's your problem.

No, just kidding, flamethrowers off.

Probably a spirit, as already mentioned. Hench AI fails again. No surprise there.

No idea why it happens really and I wish it could be fixed. The worst thing is when your running through a map, an enemy ranger has laid a nice lacerate, and you dont see it due to rushing (yes H/H is a rush.) You run into the mob, all your H/H are stuck out of range at the spirit and just stand there doing nothing.

Add the following description to spirits - When cast, enemy heroes and henchmen develop a spirit fetish and stop nearby for a hump.

I think it calls for a new spirit as well "Spirit of Aphrodisia; Summon a Spirit of Aphrodisia at your location for x seconds all heroes and henchmen within this spirits range move to the same location and begin having an orgy."

always bring minions---they do the cleanup work for me----is there a spirit in the area??? send olias forward and watch his minion cleanup crew do what they do best (killing anything that moves---and some that dont as well, with no regard for 'calling'). Never a problem with unsightly spirits with minions around!!
yep minions ftw!

This happened to me a while back (about a year ago). I discovered a "Do Not Touch" and of course I just had to touch. Well the pop-up djinns nearly wiped us out. I died (only human there) and all my heroes died. Mhenlo and a hench ranger were left alive and the group had managed to kill the remaining djinn.

Mhenlo and the ranger just stood there. Neither would rez me or anyone else. I finally just had to resign and warp back to town.

Oh henchies have orgies all the time. Go fight some AoE-spamming enemy. You'll find they love to stay together and share in the masoschism.

Earlier today, while capping Shield of Judgment up in Mineral Springs, the flurry of Avicara Fierce with the [skill]Dual Shot[/skill] and [skill]Ignite Arrows[/skill] combination really shows me a true meaning about them staying together. Only rarely did they split up and run around in circles.

Another possibility:

Henchies, like every other monk in the game, operate on energy -- unfortunately the henchies have no energy management skills provided to them at all. If you've gone through a long battle, people are dying, and they're doing nothing, it might just be that they're out of energy. Especially if there are any mesmer types in the enemy groups that you're fighting. If you're working with just hench monks try to give them an extra few seconds between battles. You'll like them better.

If it was just energy, then they would be attacking. According to the OP, they were just standing there.
